GPF was formed in 2000 as a seasonal training facility for aspiring amateur and pro MX, SX and AX athletes. AMMO was originally developed for the U.S. Military to help soldiers stay alert. They were turning their MRE (Meals Ready to Eat) and chewing the freeze dried coffee and sugar as a source of energy. Realizing that doing this could cause them to cough or possibly choke and reveal their positions in combat, we began developing a convenient liquid concentrate. Working with military rotation technologists and keeping the soldiers needs in the forefront of our research, AMMO was born.
